Personal Profile

Li Xiaorong, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, Postdoctoral Supervisor, Vice Dean, and Director of the Asset Appraisal Research Institute at the School of Finance and Taxation, Central University of Finance and Economics. He holds a Doctor of Management (Finance) degree from the Business School of Renmin University of China.

He currently serves as Secretary-General of the National Steering Committee for Professional Master's Degree in Asset Appraisal, Recipient of the Huo Yingdong Education Foundation Award from the Ministry of Education, Young Talent in Ideological and Cultural Propaganda of Beijing Municipality, Expert of the First Batch of Corporate Financial Consulting of the Ministry of Finance, Distinguished Professor of the "Longma Scholars" Program and First Batch of Young "Longma Scholars" at Central University of Finance and Economics, and Visiting Scholar at Columbia University in the United States.

Additionally, he holds concurrent positions including Director of the 6th Council of the China Appraisal Society, Member of the National Technical Committee for Asset Management Standardization, and Member of the Professional Committee on State-owned Asset Governance Research of the Chinese Society of Finance.

He has published numerous papers in renowned international and domestic journals such as Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Corporate Finance, Management World, The Journal of World Economy, and Journal of Management Sciences in China. He has authored 2 monographs and presided over multiple projects, including 3 National Natural Science Foundation projects, the 16th Higher Education Young Teachers Fund of the Huo Yingdong Education Foundation of the Ministry of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences Fund of the Ministry of Education, Beijing Social Science Foundation projects, University Youth Scientific Research Innovation Team Project, University "Young Talent" Training Support Program, China Asset Appraisal Industry Development Report, and Major Projects of the China Appraisal Society. He has compiled 6 textbooks as chief editor.

He also serves as a reviewer for 26 SSCI journals including Journal of Corporate Finance and Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, an anonymous reviewer for journals such as China Journal of Accounting Studies, Management World, The Journal of World Economy, Journal of Financial Research, Accounting Research, and Finance & Trade Economics, as well as a peer reviewer for the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
